That's what values are, after all: Guides to behavior and choices for each individual decision-maker, and that's everyone! • Secondly, we can point to our track record of major catalytic achievements. The Original STAR ALLIANCE presaged the unexpected end of the Cold War. We began declaring peace ideals in late 1985 before anyone thought such a major turnaround was possible. We collected famous signatures from 1986 on and wrote leaders Reagan and Gorbachev before every summit meeting, until it was over suddenly over! Backed by distinguished philanthropist Ms. Jane Newhall of San Francisco, we opened Market Street offices, produced cable access TV and radio shows weekly from 1987—1990, and established the STAR OF PEACE AWARD, which continues.
• In 1996, when mainland China was firing rockets over Taiwan, we wrote a calming and apparently influential Policy Advisory to the leaders of China, redirecting their attention to investing in electronic and other infrastructures for the future. Within literally days (Please see New York Times reporting from 1996.), positive results manifested and continued.
• In September of 2017, our thoughtful Advisory to the leader of the DPRK (North Korea; also copied to the US President), was followed by an unexpected, if temporary, warming of relations between two volatile personalities, making everyone safer, at least for a time!  As before, we received no explicit recognition, but the public benefit was huge.
• Enormous financial resources and logistical capacities now spent on extremely painful conflicts throughout the world are desperately needed to meet basic human needs and the environment.
